Applying for funds is very much like getting into a relationship - often you will have ongoing dialogue for some time before you get together with a funder, either party may decide that it’s not quite right, it might be a short or a long-term relationship and there may be problems that you have to work out along the way.

This FREE workshop is for SVE members and partners, who want to be prepared for the funding process.

Aim

The aim of the workshop is to be knowledgeable and confident about the preparation required to ensure your organisation is ready to source and apply for funding.

Objectives

To enable participants to:

- Be aware and understand the steps required to plan for funding- Gain awareness of the importance of funders' criteria when identifying potential funders- Identify a variety of funding sources
