Ian Marr from The Growth Partnership will join CVS Falkirk to deliver a short online learning session on Social Impact Investment on Monday 19^th June, 3 – 4pm.

Social Impact Investment is a way of financing services where third party investors work with a third sector provider and a public sector body to create high quality, person centred, sustainable, cost effective services.

Scottish Government have indicated their interest in using this financing model in the context of the Whole Family Wellbeing Fund however Social Impact Investment has already been used elsewhere in Scotland, and is used widely elsewhere in the UK and globally.

The Growth Partnership believe it’s important to find new ways to finance delivering the support our communities need, as we all face increasing demand and decreasing budgets. Ian will tell us about his organisations work to develop this model with Scottish Government and the wider public sector in Scotland.

The session is free to access and open to all third sector groups and organisations in Forth Valley interested in learning more about this funding model
