Congratulations to (SVE) for putting on an excellent evening of celebration for the amazing volunteers in Stirling.  It was fantastic to meet the individuals who were behind the applications and to hear from their own words, the difference they make for others, through using their own time and skills.

SVE are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Committed to Excellence C2E Award by Quality Scotland.

SVE are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Committed to Excellence C2E Award by Quality Scotland.

Over the past 25 years, the European Framework for Quality Management EFQM has guided many organisations, from both the public and private sectors, to improve productivity and efficiency and to develop their staff. Third sector organisations such as Third Sector Interfaces have the option of using a bespoke EFQM process to achieve excellence and the C2E Award.

SVE wants to strive for excellence in all areas of performance within the organisation. To do this we worked with Quality Scotland to develop and assess our organisation. EFQM offers an holistic approach where an organisation can go through a process where they can determine what they do well in all areas of the organisation, and where improvements are needed. These improvements are then prioritised and specific projects are taken forward and completed over a given time. Quality Scotland assess and validate these projects and if successful they are awarded the C2E award. The award lasts for three years however the process itself is based on continuous improvement, so new projects are developed on an ongoing basis.

SVE believes that only organisations striving for excellence can find solutions to surpass normal performances and achieve outstanding results can be sustained. The EFQM process is allowing us to achieve this.
