Congratulations to (SVE) for putting on an excellent evening of celebration for the amazing volunteers in Stirling.  It was fantastic to meet the individuals who were behind the applications and to hear from their own words, the difference they make for others, through using their own time and skills.

Funding

Offer 3: Funding & Fundraising

Funding is something almost all third sector groups are looking for, whether it’s for day to day running costs, or to improve services, or cash for a specific project. But it’s also one of the most problematic areas, as groups struggle just to survive in these economically straitened times.

Much as we would like to, SVE cannot secure you funding! We can, however, help you find and identify possible funding sources. These might be charitable trusts, funding from statutory sources such as government or local authority, or one of the lottery funding streams.

We can also help with the preparation of funding applications, and – importantly – ensure that as an organisation, you are ‘fit for funding’ – that is, you can demonstrate you will meet a funder’s requirements. Hopefully, with our experience we can save you time (and headaches) by helping you target your funding applications to best effect.
