Congratulations to (SVE) for putting on an excellent evening of celebration for the amazing volunteers in Stirling.  It was fantastic to meet the individuals who were behind the applications and to hear from their own words, the difference they make for others, through using their own time and skills.

Online Marketplace for Social Enterprises

The first online marketplace showcasing products made, sourced and sold by social enterprises across the UK has been launched.

Run Native allows shoppers to buy design-led goods with a social conscience online. It stocks everything from gourmet treats and gifts to lifestyle accessories, high fashion and homeware, and as an ethical e-tail site, the profits it generates will have a powerful impact on people’s lives.

The site is the brainchild of Community Enterprise, and is funded by the Scottish Government. For 25 years Community Enterprise has helped social enterprise ventures all over the country grow into great brands. During this time, the team have constantly been inspired by products made and sold by these ventures, but for the average shopper on the street, these producers can be hard to find.

Bringing together hundreds of sellers under one virtual roof, Run Native makes it easy.
